The Cavitar CAVILUX HF illumination laser provides very high pulse frequencies with very high power output. It is an ideal light source for most thermal light emitting processes such as welding, coating, combustion and expositions. With its short pulse length it is also very good for flow applications and ballistics.

CAVILUX HF can generate pulses of a few hundred kilo hertz is available in either 650nm or 810nm wavelengths and includes all the features of CAVILUX Smart pulsed illumination laser as well as extensive features for high-frequency operation. Tech Imaging Services can also provide complete high-speed imaging systems (including a CAVILUX laser light source, camera, different optical accessories and triggering) that are optimized according to customer´s specific needs.

The main applications are usually around 10-20 kHz. The homogen and speckle free light of the system provides excellent image quality. CAVILUX HF is very compact and robust and can be used in the lab as well as in rough industrial conditions. The fiber guides enable the use of the light in tight spaces.

Target applications include:

  • Welding
  • Coating
  • Flows of particles, droplets, sprays
  • Explosions
  • Ballistics
  • Shockwaves
