The Photron FASTCAM Mini R5-4K high speed camera is equipped with an ultra-high resolution sensor will be added to the innovative lineup FASTCAM Mini camera series. The Mini R5-4k is a new high-speed camera that supports the industry's highest level of 4K resolution while maintaining the lightweight and compact design.

The Mini R5 4K can achieve 1,250 frames per second at 4K resolution (4096 x 2304 pixels). 8, 16, 32, or 64GB memory options can be upgraded to higher capacity after purchase.

Compared to the Photron Mini WX camera, the vertical and horizontal shooting range is about 2.1 times wider. In order to capture a wide range while maintaining high resolution, it was necessary to use multiple cameras, but a 4K high-speed camera can capture a wide range with a single unit. High-definition observation is possible without the image becoming rough even when a fine range is zoomed in using the digital zoom, increasing the accuracy of feedback to the simulation results. For fast data transfer, the Photron Mini R5-4K utilizes a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface to quickly remove information from the memory buffer leads to repeated tests and analysis.
