When lighting is required for rugged, high-G testing, the MultiLED CG8 onboard lighting system cover all applications of high speed cameras and many applications in the machine vision market. Up to 8 lamp heads per unit is 3 to 20 times more usable light than predecessor G9 unit with 50% less power consumption due to greatly increased optical performance. The MultiLED GC8 High-G LED solution is rated up to 100 G shock and is IP 40 environmental protection sealed.

Exchangeable battery pack allows 420 seconds of 100% output power. An overheated CG8 lamp head will shut down the device. By standard, this function is disabled, as on crash tests it is better to probably lose a lamp head than having no light on the experiment during the critical moment.
