Telops introduces the RADIA Family of high-quality infrared entry cameras

In today’s industrial landscape, the ability to detect, measure, and analyze temperature variations has become essential for maintaining operational efficiency and preventing costly equipment failures. The Telops Radia V60 LWIR thermal camera represents a significant advancement in thermal imaging technology, offering exceptional image quality and reliable scientific data in a compact, user-friendly package. The camera operates at a maximum frame rate of 60 Hz, capturing full-frame images in real-time. This capability is particularly valuable for monitoring dynamic thermal processes or rapidly changing temperature conditions.

This long-wave infrared industrial camera combines sophisticated imaging capabilities with practical design features that make it accessible to users of all experience levels. Unlike many complex scientific instruments, the Radia V60 merges real-time image capture with permanent, science-grade radiometric calibration, allowing for immediate and accurate temperature measurements without extensive technical knowledge.

The Radia V60 LWIR infrared camera is built around an uncooled microbolometer detector that operates in the 8.0 to 14.0 micrometer spectral range. This technology enables the camera to capture high-resolution thermal images with a spatial resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, providing the detail necessary for thorough analysis of thermal patterns and anomalies.

Target applications include

  • Railway System Inspection
  • Automotive R&D
  • Predictive Maintenance in Manufacturing
  • Quality Control Applications
  • Fire Protection Engineering
640 x 480 pixels

Key Features: Designed for Versatility and Reliability

  • Compact and Lightweight Design

    • At just 250 grams, it can be easily integrated into portable systems, mounted in space-constrained locations, or carried for extended periods during manual inspections.
  • Interchangeable Lens System

      • Standard lenses for general-purpose imaging
      • Wide-angle lenses for capturing larger areas or confined spaces
      • Telephoto lenses for detailed imaging of distant objects
  • Permanent Radiometric Calibration

    • Unlike many thermal cameras that require frequent recalibration, the Radia V60 features permanent radiometric calibration performed at the Telops factory
  • Seamless Software Integration

    • The Radia V60 is designed for seamless compatibility with Telops RevealIR software, providing a complete solution for camera control, data acquisition, processing, and analysis
