InfraTec introduces ImageIR 9400hp to analyze the thermal behavior of objects and processes from a wide variety of perspectives . This middle wavelength infrared camera is equipped with a new generation cooled focal-plane array photon detector that provides a format of (1,280 × 1,024) IR pixels. Next to the standard mode, users can choose a high-speed mode utilizing binning technology. Due to a reduced number of pixels but the same field of view (FOV) this enables very high frame rates up to 625 Hz, extremelyshort integration times and excellent thermal resolution at the same time.
ImageIR 9400hp mid-wave infrared camera was developed for demanding operations in research and development, non-destructive testing and processmonitoring. Its modular structure, which consists of optical, detector and interface modules, makes it easily adaptable tothe respective application. If you want to analyze the thermal behavior of objects and processes from a wide variety of perspectives, you can use the high-speed mode for maximum flexibility. This function allows the camera to be used in two different operating modes. The standard mode suits best for depicting the smallest geometrical details. This allows users to record images with the native number of pixel of the camera detector. Switching to high-speed mode opens up the option of more than triple the frame rate, while the field of view (FOV) remains identical. This enables for most accurate time monitoring of fast processes. At the same time, the thermal resolution increases by a factor of 2 in high-speed mode, which additionally improves the analysis of temperature differences.
Multiple configurabledigital in- and outputs serve as control ports for the camera or as generator of control signals for external devices. Theoptical channel consists of exchangeable infrared lens systems as well as applicationspecificapertures, filters and optical elements. All exchangeable radiometricprecision lenses of the ImageIR 9400hp can be equipped with a motorised focus unit, which is operated from the camera‘s application software. It allows quick, preciseand remotely controllable motorised focusing.
