Photron USA has introduced two new additions to its Pharsight ultra-high-speed camera lineup. The Pharsighted E9 50S and E9 150S are designed for demanding applications, offering high-resolution output, extreme frame rates, and flexible recording options.
With a pixel throughput of 50 gigapixels per second, the E9 50S becomes the new entry-level option in the E9 series. The E9 150S reaches 150 gigapixels per second, positioning it as the most powerful model in the Pharsighted line.

Pharsighted ultra high-speed cameras are among the most light-sensitive options available. Both models use a backside-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor with large 52-micron pixels and offer ISO 12232 sensitivity ratings of 160,000D (monochrome) and 40,000D (color).
Built on a shared architecture and sensor platform, the E9 150S and E9 50S include a 1/10GB Ethernet interface, IP68-rated RJ45 connector, and onboard processing with 9-bit dynamic range. They support flexible triggering, and their rugged construction ensures reliability in harsh testing environments.
Pharsighted’s SLOW application provides intuitive control across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. Captured files in the proprietary RAW format can be exported into common video formats for analysis or distribution.
