Tech Imaging is proud to announce our partnership with Telops, becoming an authorized distributor of their advanced infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems. This collaboration makes Telops’ cutting-edge technology more accessible to professionals who need precise, high-speed imaging in demanding environments.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Quebec City, Telops is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance infrared and hyperspectral systems. Their solutions are widely used in defense, industrial, and academic research applications. Known for their technical expertise and spirit of innovation in optics and photonics, Telops also provides custom R&D services to help customers develop tailored imaging solutions.

Through a strong global distribution network, Telops ensures responsive support and seamless system integration. As an authorized distributor, Tech Imaging will now offer a range of Telops imaging systems, including the FAST-IR SWIR series, along with MWIR and LWIR camera lines.

Telops SWIR Camera Models

Telops shortwave infrared (SWIR) cameras operate in the 0.9 to 1.7 micron spectral range and are widely used in applications where visible imaging falls short, such as moisture detection, semiconductor inspection, and remote sensing. These scientific infrared systems are optimized for high-speed image acquisition, offering market-leading frame rate capabilities. Within this lineup, the FAST-IR series is engineered to capture even the most challenging high-speed thermal events with exceptional precision.

Designed for high-speed thermal imaging, the FAST-IR series offers fast frame rates alongside a range of image sizes and resolutions. Developed for researchers and engineers working with fast-moving or high-temperature subjects, these cameras deliver clean, uncompromised thermal data.

Telops’ FAST S1K SWIR Camera is one of their featured models, offering an affordable science-grade near-infrared camera that’s highly sensitive from 0.9 to 1.7 µm with an InGaAs FPA. It’s the fastest infrared camera reaching unrivalled low-noise levels even at an astounding 1000 frames per second rate at full resolution and up to 103,000 fps at 64 x 8 in subwindow mode. Its target applications include surveillance, fluorescent markers imaging, quality control of semiconductors, material sorting, gas detection, borehole samples analysis, solar cells characterization, and space applications.

Telops MWIR Cameras

The midwave infrared (MWIR) line from Telops covers 1.5 – 5.4 μm. These systems are designed for applications where accurate thermal contrast is essential, including high-temperature process monitoring, target tracking, and environmental research. MWIR models include cooled detector options for enhanced sensitivity. With high dynamic range and radiometric capabilities, these cameras provide consistent performance across a range of conditions.

One MWIR camera in the Telops lineup is the HDR M700 MWIR Camera, a high-performance infrared imaging system with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels and frame rates of up to 650 Hz for capturing rapid thermal events with exceptional detail. The HDR M700 is engineered to provide superior performance, particularly suited for applications that require precise thermal measurements and real-time data analysis.

Telops LWIR Cameras

Telops longwave infrared (LWIR) cameras operate in the 8 to 14 micron range, making them ideal for detecting heat signatures in environments with low contrast or harsh conditions. Within the LWIR series, the RADIA V60 LWIR Camera stands out for its performance as a long-wave infrared industrial system. Built around an uncooled microbolometer detector, it captures thermal data in the 8.0 to 14.0 spectral range.

The camera combines real-time image acquisition with permanent, science-grade radiometric calibration, enabling immediate and accurate temperature measurements without requiring extensive technical expertise. This advanced design allows the RADIA V60 to deliver high-resolution thermal images with a spatial resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, providing the level of detail needed for precise analysis of thermal patterns and anomalies.
